Meanderings
Stalking trout with dry flies. Floating, wading, and camping along the rivers. Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Winter trips to Mexico.

The Beaverhead-Outstanding (With Video) (307cfs Jun 28-30, 329-388cfs Jul. 1-3)
Low water here, easy wading, and still full of big beautiful trout that love to eat dry flies. If one were to design a tail water trout river . . . maybe just move the interstate! But hey, its Montana. Everybody knows the best rivers in Montana are right next to a highway!
The Quiet Slough
Good PMD hatches every morning, water covered with PMD spinners, rising fish in every run, just enough challenge to make it fun, and no crowds
