Ten days ago I was shoveling six inches of snow off the porch. Now its back to warm and smoky, really smoky. Filtered warm sunshine. Quiet and peaceful. No wind, calm before the storm. Some fall bugs after noon. Some fish up. Not another angler on it. No mosquitoes. Four species. Works for me. Let the games begin.
