Midging the Creeks

Fork wasn't happening, and this is on the way to the MO, kinda.  Needed some action, some rising fish to cast to.  Three-weight stuff.  The mornings were decent with midging fish, though I worked for every eat.  An eat here and there, alot of misses here and there, and hooked a few every day. Afternoons became breezy and really tough.  Split the time between Armstrong's and Depuys.  The one morning I had Betty's all to myself was pretty sweet.  Smoky skies and warm temperatures.

Tubing shuck worked, but wasn't magic or game-changing.

There were more risers on the flat than anywhere else.  Tough ones.  Bank feeders ate.

The ole black hanger got some eats

A little soft hackle love

 All to myself.

This one too.

Went to it a little late, but of course it worked!
