Pennsylvania Corner!

Its back, or ar least it is this afternoon. After a cool and windy Montana morning, blowing downstream making the golden bank unfishable, I make the move.  It's early afternoon, the wind has slackened to off and on, and the place is literally boiling with fish. That's a cliche, but everywhere I look there is a ring or fish coming out of the water.  Lots. Most of them are on the smaller side, but every shallow riffle above a hole has a pig working.  Pretty much all the way up. If someone wanted to throw at every fish, it would be non-stop, fish-a-cast.

It's not the same, but it sure brought back the memories.

Well looky here, the glare makes me reach for the ole Depuys hanger.  It doesn't let me down.

Oh no!  Big Rainbow!

This has been the spinner of choice.

There's a lot more water up here above the diversion.

And, ladies and gentlemen, today is the first day of summer. Now the days start getting shorter and we're on the downhill slide to winter.  And here is your rain snow mix forecast for tomorrow.  May I be of any more uplifting service to you?  You're welcome.

(This just isn't right. Another one of those flaws in the design of earth's system, along with wind)
