Blowin' Fork

Yup, imagine that.  Woke up to big winds on the Fork.  South to southwest.  Drove in to Millionaire's and there was some water there protected by the trees and bluff to the south.  The only place.  About 9:30 there started to be some baetis and rises.  Mostly small fish, with a few desirables.  The hatch was pretty decent until the clouds disappeared in mid-afternoon.  Didn't see any of the toads that live there.  Hooked a couple of the decent ones for a few seconds and had a couple more good eats.  The 10-inchers were all over the place.   Wasn't really happening, and the rest of the river was close to unfishable.  I need some spring creek. "Hello, Judy?  Got room for one?  Ok, see you in the morning!"
First one there, and there were fish up

There was a decent number of these big mahoganies!

Obligatory fall foliage, and a riser.

Company showed up late morning.

Not quite like a brown drake evening in June.
